Life moves fast. If you are not careful, you will drift right through it. There is a lot of material on the subject of happiness. One thing that makes this country great is our freedom to pursue it. Some think this is why so much progress has been made over the last 200+ years compared to the rest of history.
Is there anything more important than being truly happy? Happiness is not a selfish act because living with true happiness is much easier than living in misery. It is also easier to do for others when you are happy because you can focus outward instead of inward. Viktor Frankel writes about this in his book Man’s Search for Meaning (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkzWjkakPG0 )
Dr. Maslow showed that the highest pursuit in life is self-actualization. People sometimes get caught up in pursuing happiness and not meaning.
Equature Quote of the Week

The meaning of life typically comes down to one thing. You need to find out what that is for you.
